Translational Research
Translational research is carried out to find more meaningful and applicable results that benefit human health. Translational research is aimed at translating or moving the basic science discoveries into practice more quickly & efficiently
Goals of Translational Research
- Encourage and promote collaboration among laboratory & clinical researchers
- Engaging communities to determine their needs for health innovation while incorporating public desires
- Identify & support the adoption of the best medical & health practices
Generally, a translational research is classified into three stages as follows:
T1 Research – Developing New Methods, Treatments, PrevantionT2 Research – Testing the efficacy and effectiveness
T3 Research – Implementation Research
T4 Research – Implementation research for global outcome
